About Project

Context
WGSN is The Global Trend Authority, forecasting what’s now and what’s next to help businesses shape the future. As a multi-product, global organisation serving diverse industries and markets, its brand needed to reflect both creative authority and structural clarity.

Challenge
By 2018, the existing identity no longer fully expressed WGSN’s leadership position or supported the growing complexity of its product ecosystem. The brand required a scalable system that could unify multiple offerings while allowing each product to retain its own voice and relevance.

Strategic Approach
In collaboration with Amsterdam-based agency …,staat, we redefined the brand architecture to create a layered identity system. The objective was to balance cohesion with flexibility, ensuring global consistency while empowering individual product lines to stand confidently within their respective domains.

Creative Solution
We developed a modular visual system designed to adapt across products, audiences, and markets. The refreshed identity reinforced WGSN’s creative authority while introducing a clearer framework for expression, enabling consistency across digital platforms, marketing communications, and global touchpoints.

Impact
The rebrand strengthened WGSN’s market positioning as a future-facing authority while improving internal alignment across teams and products. The new system provided the flexibility required for growth, supporting clearer communication and a more cohesive global brand presence.
