About Project

Context
WGSN Futures was the company’s first global paid-for event series, launching across New York, São Paulo, London, Cape Town, Melbourne, and Hong Kong. The initiative marked a strategic expansion of WGSN’s commercial offering, moving from insight provider to live experience platform.

Challenge
The event needed to deliver locally relevant content in each market while maintaining a consistent and authoritative global brand presence. It also had to balance two objectives: showcasing WGSN’s expertise while creating a credible platform for leading external voices, ensuring attendees left with actionable insight and lasting value.

Strategic Approach
I defined the overarching creative direction for the London launch event, establishing a scalable framework that could be rolled out globally by the in-house brand design team. The system was built to flex across regions, time zones, and venue specifications while maintaining brand cohesion.
Beyond design execution, I partnered closely with marketing and regional teams, contributing strategic brand thinking to support positioning, communication, and overall event success.


Creative Solution
We developed a comprehensive visual toolkit spanning digital, environmental, and presentation touchpoints, including campaign assets, event signage, digital communications, printed materials, and experiential branding. The system ensured clarity, consistency, and impact across every attendee interaction.

Impact
WGSN Futures successfully launched as a premium global event platform, strengthening brand authority while opening a new commercial revenue stream. The scalable creative direction enabled efficient international rollout, reinforced brand consistency, and delivered a cohesive experience across six global cities.
